Is there a RADARSAT-2 data allocation for the Government of Canada? |
Yes. RADARSAT-2 is available to all federal government departments and agencies to help fulfill their operational and research mandates. |

How do Government of Canada users order RADARSAT-2 data? |
The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) is responsible for managing and operating the Canadian Government Order Desk. All Federal government users will place their orders through CSA at OrderDesk@space.gc.ca. |

Are RADARSAT-2 data classified? |
RADARSAT-2 data are not classified. The RADARSAT- 2 mission is a civilian program that is run by the private sector in partnership with the Government of Canada. |

How does the new Canadian remote sensing legislation affect a RADARSAT-2 product user? |
The obligations under The Act Governing the Operation of Remote Sensing Space Systems mainly apply to MDA. In most cases there will be no restrictions beyond the typical end-user restrictions (set out in the End-User License Agreement) that apply today. |

Can I have access to all RADARSAT-2 data and products? |
A Customer Access Profile (CAP) has been determined for each country and will specify your ordering privileges. |

Will a shutter control be applied? |
The Government of Canada reserves the right to exercise a shutter control when the availability of the data might be detrimental to Canada's defence. |

To address the market's requirements and the need to share data, MDA offers two types of End User License Agreements (EULAs). |
